Awtaad filly provides lift for trainer Tate.
Live Stream gave trainer James Tate a boost with a strong performance to lift the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes at Kempton on Friday.
With PJ McDonald aboard, the 7-2 shot edged out favourite Mutahamisa by a length and a quarter in the six-furlong race.
It gave Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Awtaad the first winner of his stallion career and provided a lift for Tate, who revealed on Thursday his rising sprint star Far Above had been retired after sustaining an injury when triumphing in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket.
McDonald said of Live Stream, who runs in same Sheikh Rashid Dalmook Al Maktoum colours as Far Above: "She's a smart filly. I rode her at home last week and she put in a nice piece of work. She had a good turn of foot and we were pretty confident bar it being her first time.
"Everything went perfect. It is always the same when you are riding those nice fillies, the space opens up for you. She travelled well, but froze a little when I got after her at first and then inside that last furlong she got going.
"You can see she is an absolute diamond."
McDonald was unbeaten in his four rides aboard Far Above , and added: "Me and James had a lot of confidence in that horse. We thought he was definitely well up to holding his own in Group One company.
"We could see what he could do at home, but it's just a pity people couldn't see him at his best."
Its A Given made it two from two for Roger Charlton with victory in the Unibet Money Back Free Bet If Second Novice Stakes.
The Bated Breath filly denied Shoot The Moon by half a length to give Tom Marquand another success at the Sunbury track.
He said of the 4-5 favourite: "I was really happy with her. I didn't even have to draw the stick in the end.
"She was always comfortable enough going under her own steam, which is always nice as it's quite a long time off the track.
"She's got plenty of boot, she could probably scrape seven furlongs out but she's got more than enough speed to stay at six."
Raatea (100-30) clinched division one of the Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Maiden Stakes for trainer Marcus Tregoning.
Jockey Dane O'Neill said: "He was ready to go and ready to get on with things. His experience counted for a lot today and helped him, but I thought it was a nice performance."
Saeed bin Suroor's Dubai Mirage justified his favourite tag to storm home with Oisin Murphy in division two.
After placing in his first two outings, the Dubawi colt cruised over the line by four and a half lengths to show why he went off at 4-11.
It was champion jockey Murphy's second triumph having won on Robert Cowell's Becker (2-1) in the Unibet Thanks The Frontline Workers Handicap.
He was denied a treble by a neck aboard Damage Control when John Gosden's To Nathaniel (5-1) claimed the Unibet Money Back Free Bet If Second Handicap to get Nicky Mackay off the mark this season.
The Brian Meehan-trained Palavecino clinched the Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap at 9-2, while Chris Wall's Delilah Park triumphed in the Unibet Extra Place Offers Every Day Fillies Handicap on the same odds.
Cieren Fallon then gave Patrick Chamings a first win since the resumption on Ghepardo (12-1) in the Unibet Casino Deposit 10 Get 40 Handicap to conclude the afternoon's action.
