The July Cup is arguably the premier sprint in Europe and while the international challenge is weakened in 2020 (The Irish are still in town and 25-1 chance Namos runs for Germany) the race still fills the important role of bringing together the form from the big sprints at Royal Ascot and creating a clash of not just those formlines but of the generations.

The three-year-olds have a strong record in the July Cup, and while Racing and Sports' Pricing Model doesn't know that exactly, she does like potential and she sees it in the Clive Cox-trained Golden Horde .

Clive Cox also has a remarkably good record in the race with Lethal Force and Harry Angel both landing this for him, and both did so coming straight from Ascot, Lethal Force off the Diamond Jubilee and Harry Angel off the Commonwealth Cup.

As a three-year-old, Golden Horde comes via the Harry Angel path, and bettered that one by winning the Commonwealth Cup. The pace played against Harry while the track played for Golden Horde who probably isn't quite so good as Harry but may not need to be to follow up at Newmarket where the Racinga and Sports Pricing Model finds plenty of positive variables and plenty of reasons to think that the betting will undersell him.

Elsewhere on the card, The Model sees more to like about Eastern World  than any other in what looks a really good bet365 Mile Handicap.

Finest Sound is favourite in early markets but The Model would have it the other way around with Eastern World profiling strongly on several counts, not least being his fast time win last time for hot connections.

He's a bet in the eyes of The Model to go with Golden Horde on a terrific card of racing on the July Course.
