Nigel Tinkler may run his two stable stars Acklam Express and Ubettabelieveit against each other in the Flying Childers at Doncaster next month.

Both are five-furlong specialists who want good ground and the next available option for both – given they are already Listed winners – is on Town Moor.

Acklam Express won the Roses Stakes at York last week, while Ubettabelieveit disappointed in the Gimcrack.

In the immediate aftermath Tinkler mentioned taking Acklam Express to France, but that is now off the agenda.

"He's not going to go to France as it looks as if it is going to be very wet, so I think we'll give that a miss," he said.

"He'll be entered for the Flying Childers and we'll play it by ear."

Ubettabelieveit  was unsuited by soft ground and the step up in trip at York.

"He'll also be entered for the Flying Childers, all being well the ground should be good there – he says as the rain pours down," said Tinkler.

"At this moment in time it is too soft for the pair of them, so we'll pray it dries up a bit by then.

"They'll both be trained for Doncaster and if they both run they both run, but all being well at least one of them will.

"They have different owners, so I have to do what is right by them."
