Day two of the Craven Meeting from Newmarket was another strong day of racing and another pair of Group Three contests can keep the good times rolling up the Rowley Mile.

Quite literally, fast times and horses the order of the first couple of days, and now we move onto the feature with the Craven shaping as a strong edition with plenty of potential on show among the ten declared.

As is typical for this race, only a couple have been seen this year so far and so there is some guesswork involved when it comes to assessing last year's form. Who has come back stronger? Or not...

The Racing and Sports Pricing Model likes recent form and so finds race favourite Master Of The Seas very appealing turning out just 49 days on from his return at the Meydan.

He was a touch disappointing when beaten by his stablemate at short odds, but the time was quite good and the winner, Naval Crown, ran well when second in the Free Handicap yesterday.

It's been a frustrating week for jockey William Buick so far, ten rides netting him five seconds, but he looks worth the gamble to convert this time aboard Master Of The Seas who not only holds that recent bit of form but the best bit of form (in our opinion) in the shape of his fast win in the Superlative last season.

Stablemate La Barrosa is a likely type but has only won slower races to date and Devilwala's Dewhurst run stacks up. Throw in a couple from Ballydoyle who have won maidens in sharp enough figures to think that they could develop into handy ones and this is no penalty kick for Master Of The Seas but 5/2 seems very reasonable given the advantages he has.

Recommended Bets: Back Master Of The Seas in the Craven
