Desert Dreamer , runner-up in the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes, is set to face 10 rivals as she bids to go one better in the Group Three Princess Margaret Keeneland Stakes at Ascot on Saturday.

The Stuart Williams-trained filly was beaten a length and three-quarters by Sandrine in the Group Two at headquarters earlier this month.

Desert Dreamer had gone down by a neck to System in the Listed Empress Stakes over the same course and distance on her previous start.

The two are to meet again as Richard Hannon's charge, who sprang a 22-1 upset that day, is among the final declarations.

Andrew Balding, trainer of Sandrine, is represented in the six-furlong heat by Nymphadora, winner of the Listed Marygate Stakes at York in May.

James Tate, who saddled Under The Stars to take this prize two years ago, looks to Lingfield winner El Hadeeyah to give him a second success.

Mr McCann, fourth in the Superlative Stakes on his latest start, heads seven declarations for the Listed Pat Eddery Stakes.

The Tom Dascombe-trained two-year-old is owned by several Liverpool footballers, including Jordan Henderson, and is named after the club's press officer Matt McCann.

Among the opposition are George Boughey's Cachet, third in the Empress Stakes, the Charlie Appleby-trained New Science and cosy Salisbury scorer Like A Lion, trained by William Muir and Chris Grassick.

Motakhayyel tops 22 horses for the Moet & Chandon International Stakes.

The Richard Hannon-trained five-year-old has to carry a 3lb penalty for repeating last year's victory in Newmarket's Bunbury Cup.

Bunbury Cup third Lord Rapscallion in the mix, as is Raising Sand, winner of this Heritage Handicap over seven furlongs in 2019 while Danyah, Matthew Flinders, Aldaary and Star Of Orion are among those prominent in the ante-post betting taking their chance
