Show Me Show Me  returned to winning form for eToro Racing in the opening contest on the penultimate night of the William Hill Racing League at Lingfield.

Richard Fahey's four-year-old had finished well out of the money on his last two starts, including when 24th of 25 most recently in the consolation race for Stewards' Cup at Goodwood last month.

But jockey Paddy Mathers was able to strike from off the pace in the William Hill Free Or Four Racing League R25, before holding on from a rallying Peerless to score by a neck at 10-1.

Peerless was also registering handy points for jockey Saffie Osborne and Team Swish in second, with favourite Electric Love another head back in third for Laura Pearson and Goat Racing.

Mathers told Sky Sports Racing: "He is capable of winning races, but he finds it hard sometimes – because he misses the break, is always slow away and doesn't help himself out.

"He's won on soft ground. (So) this (good to firm) ground was a big worry, but I knew he had another good race (in him).

"They've gone quick, and I just took my time and rode to Richard's instructions.

"It's paid off – he's picked up really well and finished well."

Jack Mitchell, vying with Osborne for the inaugural League's top rider award, was successful on Michael Bell's Natural Path for Team talkSPORT in the second race, the William Hill Pick Your Places Racing League R26.

The 100-30 joint favourite took over a furlong out from Team ODDSbible's eventual runner-up Additional, an 18-1 shot, and won decisively by two lengths.

Mitchell said: "He was very willing.

"He obviously backed up from last week – that was a good run over six (furlongs) at Windsor.

"I thought the ground might be a bit quick for him (here), but he quickened up nicely.

"He jumped so well – he was an open book for the first two furlongs, see where we landed, and luckily there was a bit of pace on and we had something to aim at going inside the two."

Top weight Typhoon Ten was an emphatic winner of race three, the William Hill Double Your Odds Racing League R27, for Team ThoroughBid – who were therefore extending their lead in the overall standings.

Sean Levey did the steering on Richard Hannon's five-year-old, who was doubling his own Racing League tally after victory over a furlong shorter than this seven on the all-weather track here two weeks ago.

This time, Typhoon Ten hit the front two furlongs out and was well on top at the line – scoring by three lengths at 11-1 from Team Racehorse Lotto outsider Ajrad.

Levey said: "He travelled well, to be fair, surprisingly well.

"He's always been a handful, this horse. But it seems like running every week has absolutely crowned him, made a man of him.

"He gave me the best ride he ever has today. He hacked down to the start, relaxed, and he was very professional throughout the race as a result.

"So he's definitely learning, and going the right way."

Billhilly was also following up a victory here two weeks ago when he struck for Goat Racing in the William Hill Lengthen Your Odds Racing League R28 – keeping the pressure on ThoroughBid at the top.

Another convincing winner, Charlie Fellowes' 11-2 chance pounced two furlongs out and went further clear under Louis Steward for a near five-length success from Remulate Racing's Hundred Isles. Favourite Hong Kong Harry stayed on well to take third for Fahey and eToro.

Billhilly was winning for the fifth time in seven starts this season, since joining Fellowes, and Steward said: "I'm delighted for the horse, and delighted for Charlie and the team, everyone at home and the owners.

"They've done such a good job with this horse, just to revive his career. It's so good to see, and great to be on his back today."

Action switched back to the Polytrack for the William Hill Build Your Odds Racing League R29, and Anythingtoday was another winning top weight – this time for trainer George Boughey, jockey Daniel Muscutt and Racehorse Lotto.

The seven-year-old was making it two out of two since joining Boughey, taking charge in the final furlong to prevail at 10-1 by a length and a half from ODDSbible's Glentaneous.
