Magny Cours  could bid for the Saudi Cup before heading to Meydan to try to improve on his third place in the 2021 Dubai World Cup.

Trainer Andre Fabre is waiting to discover if Magny Cours is invited to run in the world's most valuable race at Riyadh on February 26 before he can finalise any plans and then focus the Meydan showpiece on March 26.

Should Magny Cours receive an invitation for the $20million feature in Saudi Arabia, Fabre will consult Godolphin supremo Sheikh Mohammed for his opinion.

"Obviously, he will be going to Dubai but possibly Riyadh as well. It's an option, but we don't know if he will be invited yet," said Fabre.

"If Sheikh Mohamed is willing, I'm sure he will go.

"I will wait for the owner's advice and his wish. I just need to wait and make sure if he is invited to Riyadh first. We should know in about two weeks."

Magny Cours is back at Fabre's base in Chantilly following a trip to the Middle East where he was third to Lord Glitters in the Bahrain International Trophy at Sakhir in November.
