Chelmsford hosts a seven-race card featuring the Listed It Pays To Buy Irish Chelmer Fillies' Stakes at 7.25. However, it's the Class 4 Racing Welfare Handicap run at 6.15 where our first selection comes from. Sean Curran and Adam Kirby have an impressive 60% strike-rate when teaming up at the Great Leighs venue and Business shaped much better than the bare result when sixth at Kempton last outing. The six-year-old was held up in a race that paid to be prominent and the combination of a 1lb drop in the weights and return to Class 4 company, may well see him return to winning ways.

Selection: Business – General 5/1

The opening race on Chelmsford's card is the Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap (Class 5) run at 5.40 and it's John Quinn's One More Dream that I like. The four-year-old scored to make it 2-2 over course and distance when scoring snugly here last-time-out and the yard arrived in excellent form with a 31% strike-rate (4-13) in the last fortnight. A 5lb rise looks lenient given the manner of his one-and-three-quarter-length success last outing and he can follow up.

Selection: One More Dream – General 13/8

Our third selection requires a switch of codes as we head to Perth for the BetVictor Gamble Responsibly Handicap Hurdle (5.13). Although ultimately well-held in three hurdling runs to date it's easy to see why Sanitiser has found his way to the head of the market. The four-year-old gelding by The Gurkha has been allotted an opening mark of 95 over timber which is staggeringly only 5lb higher than his flat mark. The form he displayed when fifth in a Doncaster maiden hurdle is enough to suggest he can win races off this mark and Archie Watson's first-ever runner at Perth is taken to be a winning one.

Selection: Sanitiser – General 15/8

The fourth and final selection of the day comes in the 1m2f Andy Hill Birthday Celebration Novice Stakes at Beverley (2.50). The William Haggas-trained Sea Flawless currently heads the betting but Liseo can offer some value against the likely odds-on favourite. The son of Lope De Vega was admittedly disappointing on his final start at three but showed bundles of promise on the turf prior. The form of his second at Doncaster behind the now 110-rated Warren Point looks rock-solid as does his runner-up effort at Newcastle behind the now 91-rated Royal Scandal. Simon & Ed Crisford's runner has 1lb to spare on official ratings over the market leader and can get off the mark at the fifth attempt carrying 2lb less.

Selection: Liseo – General 11/4
