The Carlos Laffon-Parias-trained filly impressed in the Group 3 Prix Vanteaux at the same venue on reappearance and was again produced a taking display on the Route des Tribunes.

Sent off the 8/5 favourite, Jannah Rose travelled sweetly for much of the contest under Soumillon and showed a bright turn of foot for a quarter-length success over the fast-finishing Elusive Princess. Crown Princess looked to be going nicely entering the closing stages, but her run petered out and she finished the same distance behind in third.

Boogie Woogie could only manage sixth in what was to prove a frustrating day for Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore.

"When I saw the ground today, it was less soft than I thought. I was thinking to run in the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches [French 1000 Guineas], but I thought this was the easiest option.

"I think we made the right decision. The way the filly won the Poule d'Essai [Blue Rose Cen], I don't think we should beat her. This is a Group One, it's an important one and I'm happy to make that decision and go straight for the Prix de Diane.

Carlos Laffon-Parias told Sky Sports Racing: "It's hard to win a Group Three on your second race, you have to be good. She showed she is good the other day and today she took another step up.

"She's in the Arc and she's in the mile race at Ascot [Coronation Stakes] but she won't go to Ascot.

"We are in France, and we'll stay in France."

The daughter of Frankel was subsequently cut to 7-1 from 10-1 for the Prix de Diane by Paddy Power, who also introduced her as a 25-1 shot for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in October.
