Forming part of the six-race Shergar Cup meeting on Saturday, the Dubai Duty Free Dash is run over five furlongs with a maximum of ten runners from the four partaking teams - Europe, Ladies, Rest of the World and UK & Ireland.

Chipstead won a valuable five furlong handicap at York prior to a disappointing run in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot over six furlongs. The five-year-old had his first run in Listed company subsequently when fifth in the City Walls Stakes at York, where he suffered a poor draw.

"He'll go on Saturday, it should be a nice little spot for him" said trainer Roger Teal.

"There are only 10 runners so you don't get a massive cavalry charge like you can in the big sprints.

"Hopefully that will do his confidence the world of good, he could run a big race there for us.

"The Wokingham was a bit of a non-event for us, but then he went and ran a blinder up at York in the Listed race.

"He was drawn badly that day and the race was run on the inside flank there, so you can upgrade his run that day."

Chipstead is a full-brother to Roger Teal's multiple Group 1 winning sprinter Oxted.
