Winning the two G3s including the quinella in the second and three other wins

He would have been particularly proud of his old boy Southern Legend who had a huge weight and battled on strongly to win the Plate from Reliable Team and Fast Most Furious with the winner's stablemate Columbus County fourth.

Then Sky Field broke through to win the Cup from stablemate Sky Darci, who didn't get the best of starts, giving Fownes the quinella.  Champion's Way was third and Lucky Patch fourth.  Health Happy was eased down and found after the race to have an irregular heart beat and blood in the trachea.

We managed to get out in the Class 2 when Hinchinlove won from Lucky Express and E Star.  We didn't get the pick 4 as the 4th went to Master Montaro.
