Bielsa is named after the Manager of Leeds United and has a passionate following including the Kevins – Ryan and Stott, trainer and jockey respectively.  They defeated the favourite Great Ambassador with Mr Wagyu third on 18/1 and Motagally fourth 33/1 and well done if you got the pick four.

Earlier Hollie Doyle booted home Nazanin 16/1, a daughter of Declaration of War, to win the 2yo fillies Firth of Clyde.  Canonized was second and Hal Hala Athmani was third.

At Newbury Doyle's fiancé Tom Marquand steered Hurricane Ivor to another win, this time over Moss Gill 8/1 and Tis Marvellous in the G3.

The Legacy Cup formerly the Arc Trial saw Sir Michael Stoute's win with William Buick in the irons and off a mark of 12/1.  Foxes Tales was a neck away in second and Al Aasy was a disappointing fourth in the 5 runner field.

The Mill Reef was won by Wings of War for Clive Cox and Adam Kirby.  They won by a head from Hierarchy and Fierby.  Gis A Sub was withdrawn at the gates when he became unsettled.
