Amongst the delights are the two Gr 2 races, the Jim Dandy and the Bowling Green.

The Vanderbilt is over 1200m and has a field of 9, headed my Mishevious Alex on 9/4 for Saffie Joseph and Irad Ortiz.  Firenze Fire and Special Reserve are on 7/2.

The Jim Dandy is for 3yos over 1800m and 6 will run.  It may have been the presence of Godolphin's Essential Quality has scared off a few and he's on 4/5 with Brad Cox putting Luis Saez on board.  We are going a bit wide for a second pick here and going for Dr Jack, trained by Todd Pletcher and J-L Ortiz in the irons.

The Bowling Green is Gr 2 over turf 2200m with a field of 8.  Cross Border is on 9/2 for Mike Maker and Luis Saez with Moon Over Miami on the same quote for Bill Mott and Tyler Gaffalone.  Rockemperor is on 5/1 for Chad Brown and Joel Rosario.

Over at Del Mar it's the Bing Crosby Gr 1 over 1200m, remembering the glory days of Del Mar when Hollywood "royalty" would take over.  CZ Rocket is on 5/2, Dr Schivel is a 3yo and gets a weight advantage here and is on 7/2, and Backyard Ride on the same quote.
