Wednesday saw a Willie Mullins quinella in the Galway Plate.

Royal Rendezvous ran one place better than last year's second with Paul Townend on board, defeating stablemate Easy Game who was on 28/1 by a length with Modus 20/1 third and favourite The Shunter fourth.

Thursday sees the G3 Novice Chase with 8 runners and the Galway Hurdle with 20.

The Novice Chase has two runners from Henry de Bromhead's yard – Gin on Lime on 6/4 and Bold Enough 9/2.  Also in the top three at present is Fan de Blues for Mullins-Townend on 7/2.

The Galway Hurdle is of course very open.  Some of the main chances are Magic Tricks for Denise Foster and Mark Welsh 7/1, Belfast Banter 8/1, Soldier for Willie and Patrick Mullins and Winner Takes Itall.
