The Nad Al Sheba Trophy saw a bin Suroor trifecta with Volcanic Sky winning from Global Heat by a short head and Brilliant Light finishing third, with another Godlphin runner Ispolini fourth for Appleby-Buick. Volcanic Sky will now head to the Dubai Gold Cup.
The Appleby-Buick combo roared back in the Dubai Millenium Stakes with the bin Suroor Bedouin's Story second and Simon Crisford's Halimi was third. Royal Marine was a non-runner. This win was part of a treble for Appleby.
