This Gr.1 is the highlight of the French jumps season.

It has attracted a number of raiders including one of our favourites Al Boum Photo from the Mullins-Townend powerhouse.  He's on 4/1.

Francois Nicolle is the leading jumps trainer and he has Niko Has, the current favourite on 3/1, with Theo Chevillard on board.  The trainer says that originally he hadn't planned to run Niko Has here but that the horse has been doing so well he decided to aim him at this race.

Guillaume Macaire now trains in partnership with Hector Lageneste and they saddle two here with good chances – Sel Jem on 5/1 and Feu Follet on 7/1.
