There are 3 G3s on the program all of which provide useful pointers to future events.
The first of these is the John Porter over 2400m with 9 runners. William Haggas will try to continue his winning ways following the success of Addeybb in Sydney yesterday with Al Aasy with Jim Crowley riding. They are on 7/4. Deja is trained by Peter Chapple-Hyam and Ryan Moore has the ride. Hollie Doyle will try to emulate fiancé Tom Marquand's win on the aforementioned Addeybb on Outbox 5/1 and we always put something on Red Verdon who is on 14/1 with Ed Dunlop booking Dettori for the ride.
The Fred Darling is for the 3yo fillies down the straight 1400m and there will be 17 runners. Alcohol Free is 5/2 for Andrew Balding and Oisin Murphy, Wild Iris won on debut for the Gosdens and Dettori to ride – she's on 5/1. Statement could be a bit of e/w value on 12/1 and there's a new Miss Finland on the scene – again from the Gosdens' yard – who is on 25/1 and in the hopes that she could emulate her Aussie namesake we may make a small investment.
The Greenhaam is over the 1400m for the 3yo boys where Chindit is on 2/1 for Richard Hannon and Pat Dobbs, Alkumaat 9/2 for Marcus Tregoning and Dane O'Neil. Fundamental is 7/1 Gosden-Dettori and we liked Nando Parrado last season and 11/1 looks backable.
