Ayr on Sunday sees the big Grand National meet with a couple of exciting races before the big event.
The Scottish Champion Hurdle is Gr 2 with a field of 10. Current favourite is Milkwood 5/2 for Neil Mulholland and Sam Twiston-Davies, closely followed by Calico 11/4 for the Skeltons and possible value here with Diego de Charmil 8/1 Paul Nicholls-Angus Chelada.
The Gr 2 Novices' Chase has only got 4 runners but it could be a good contest between Allmankind 5/6 for the Skeltons and Tamarac du Matheu for Nicholls-Sean Bowen.
The GN is Gr 3 and has 22 runners. Aye Right has had 5 places in 5 starts and is on 11/2 for trainer Harriet Graham and jockey Callum Bawley. Dingo Dollar 9/1 ran an eye-catcher at Newcastle winning by 10 lengths. Notachance is on 10/1 and our roughie here is Some Chaos on 20/1 – he can stay which is always a big help.
