Two good warm-ups for the Breeders' Cup at Woodbine.

They are the E P Taylor for the f&m over 2000m G1 with 10 runners, and as usual Chad Brown has a strong hand.  He saddles Etoile, on 4/1 with I. Ortiz on board and Great Island on 9/2 with R-M Hernandez riding.  Christophe Clement's La Dragontea is on 5/1.

The Nearctic is G2 over 1200m and favourite is the local Town Cruise for Brandon Greer and Daisuke Fukumoto riding and a quote is 5/2.  We like White Flag on 8/1 from Roger Attfield's stable with Emma-Jayne Wilson riding and Jolie Olimpico, formerly with Richard Mandella is now with Josie Carroll and could be value on 10/1.  Joel Rosario has the ride.
