There are a lot of glamorous frocked up girls wandering around Broome looking very dejected after the Broome Ladies' Day races were cancelled.

As the flying horsebox has only just touched down we don't know the full story but it appears too much oil was mixed into the track surface and it was decreed not suitable for racing.

Let's hope that it gets sorted before Broome's big day on Saturday.
