Races 8 and 9 were Class 2 and provided some surprises and some horses to keep an eye on.

And a jockey - Vincent Ho rode a treble including a win on Ugly Warrior because we thought he should win so that he can be more warrior than ugly - we are sure he is a very nice looking horse. That was in Race 9 where Calculation ran second and Big Time Baby third.

The previous race over the 1600m turf saw Zac Purton steer Victory Boys on 9.5 first over the line, with World Record second and Circuit No. 2 third. Favoured Harmony Victory was 6th.
