It has been wet - very very wet - at Churchill Downs but Friday and Saturday are expected to be OK.

It was quite a sight to see all of Aidan O'Brien's 15 horses heading out onto the track in the rain.

But down to business - Juvenile means 2yo and the fields at Churchill Downs are limited to 14 runners with most races having "also eligibles"= emergencies.

First off is a new race the Juvenile Turf Sprint over 1100m with a field of 12. In the US Morning Line Strike Silver is 4/1, Soldier's Call 9/2, Shang Shang Shand 5/1 (15/2 UK) and Sergei Prokofiev 6/1 (4/1 UK).

The Juvenile Fillies Turf is over 1600m and Newspaperofrecord is 2/1 on the ML for Chad Brown and Irad Ortiz. Just Wonderful and Concrete Rose 6/1 (7/2 and 8/1 UK) and Lily's Candle 8/1.

The Juvenile Fillies is over 170om dirt with 10 to run headed by Bdellafina on 2/1, Serengeti Impress and Jaywalk on 7/2 and Restless Rider 9/2.

The Juvenile Turf is 1600m and O'Brien's Anthony van Dyck is 4/1 ML 5/2 UK, Current 5/1 (10/1 UK) and Forty Under same quote in the ML.

The Juvenile is over 17oom dirt and Baffert's Game Winner is 8/5, Complexity 5/2 and Code of Honor 5/1.

The Marathon for 3y+ is over 2800m and has 10 runners and is a Gr 2. Rocketry is 7/2 and War Story and Honorable Duty are next bests on 4/1.

Since this card is basically for the babies not too sure if there is much wet track form around so if possible watch the betting. Race 5 the Juvenile Turf is on Sky Racing at 8.22 and the Juvenile at 9.05 Saturday morning AED time.
