It's a bit confusing as the race guide is still showing some double acceptors between Race 8 and the Cup.

Race 8 is the HKJC Trophy, a Kranji B over 1600m and provided they are not in the Cup we are going for Makanani 3.0, Mighty Kenny 5.4 and What's New 5.0.

The Gold Cup is G1 and has a very good field. King Louis has ticked all the boxes of late and has won his last 3 outings, so we are putting him on top on 5.0. Lim's Magic as been in fine form and comes into this on a quote of 8.0. Karis Teetan is coming in for the ride.

Also on 8.0 is Mr Clint with Jay Ford flying in for the ride, and his stablemate in the Freedman yard Circuit Land is also in with a good chance and is on 10.0.
