Big Surprise in Sunday's Kranji B

3 minute read

Everyone including the trainer and the jockey was left open-mouthed after Webster won the Kranji B over 1100m.

He had been off the track since May and had undergone a knee operation and came into this on 182.00!

However the horse was obviously feeling good about life and racing and everything and got a dream run down the inside and took it to defeat Autumn Rush and favourite Augustano only third - he appeared to be a bit sluggish in the closing stages and may have needed the run.
