On Saturday at Nakayama the Nakayama Kimpai went to Win Bright on 8.4, followed by Stay Foolish 11.0 and a neck away to Tanino Franke on 18.0 in third.

Also at Nakayama visiting jockey Oisin Murphy rode a treble which was particularly welcome as his sisters were on hand to watch.

The Kyoto Kimpai over 1600m was won by favourite Pax Americana by 3/44 length from My Style 15.6 and Mieno Succede on 86.7.

Sundays Shinzen Kinen went to Val d"isero on6.8, Meiner Flap 32.7 and Mikki Brillante 5.6.
