A horse was determined to live up to his name at Uttoxeter when Reckless Behaviour decided he wanted a pint and a pizza.

While lining up for the start, he turned around, dumped his jockey and broke through the railings and the confines of the course and set off into town.

He passed a couple of roundabouts and finished up on the main street in the vicinity of Domino's and the pub when a lady who had emerged from the pub managed to persuade him to stop and took hold of the reins until the persuing vehicles caught up with the wayward horse, who fortunately seemed none the worse for his adventures.

We have not been told if he got either a pizza or a pint before being taken back to the track.
