The Kowloon Cricket Club Centenary Cup was the feature race on Sunday's card at Sha Tin and as a highlight it did not disappoint.

There was a thrilling duel down the straight between the two Brazilian jockeys Silvestre de Sousa on Right Choice and Joao Moreira on Time To Celebrate, with de Sousa's horse able to just hold off the final lunge from Moreira's mount.

This was de Sousa's last day of racing in Hong Kong this term and he left with 44 winners in his bag.

Third home in the Cup was Sichuan Dar, who is a very genuine contender.

On Saturday the first racing was held at Conghua as an exhibition meeting, and it was trainer Richard Gibson who saddled the first winner.
