Beauty Generation continues to impress

3 minute read

Hong Kong's top horse continued to justify the title with a win in the G2 Chairman's Trophy.

Eagle Way came flying along in the closing stages to get the second money and Pakistan Star behaved impeccably but may lack the dash of his earlier days. He's now with Paul O'Sullivan and has been reunited with Matthew Chadwick. Conte looked a bit one-paced and finished 5th.

Earlier the Sprint Cup was a bit of an upset when Rattan swept past the two favourites, Beat The Clock and Mr Stunning who had been eyeballing each other down the straight, and took the honours.

The Harlech Handicap saw another good win for Dark Dream, giving Zac Purton his fourth winner of the day. Insayshable at 54/1 was second and Ho Ho Khan third on 7/1. Waikuku was disappointing.

The Severn Handicap was won by a horse called Win Win, and in the US a horse called Win Win Win has got a probable start in the Kentucky Derby!!!
