The Flora Stakes for the 3yo fillies is over 2000m at Fuchu and the Yomiuri Milers in Kyoto is for the 4y+ brigade and both important lead-ups.

The Flora has a full field of 18 fillies lining up for this prestigious race. It is quite open so we will just go with the top 5 in the Morning Line from Japan. Therapeia is a beautifully bred filly by Orfevre out of a Tapit mare and she is current top on 4.5.

Shadow Diva is by Heart's Cry and is on 6.7, Fairy Polka by Rulership on 7.1, the nicely named Victoria by Victoire Pisa is on 8.1 and the Harbinger product Air Gene is on 10.9 with Mirco Demuro riding.

The Kyoto races is a good prep for the Yasuda Kinen and has a field of 10 with Danon Premium the short-priced fav here on 1.4. Indy Champ is by Stay Gold and on 4.3 and we like Mozu Ascot - he's by Frankel- and is on 8.7 with Christophe Lemaire in the irons.
