Waldgeist wins Prix Ganay

3 minute read

A bit of an upset at Longchamp on Sunday when Waldgeist got the better of the odds-on favourite Ghalyyath.

There were only five runners in this year's edition.  Waldgeist is trained by Andre Fabre and P-C Boudot was in the irons.

Earlier Morgan Le Faye romped away with the Prix Allez France but our roughie Tosen Gift placed second starting a 46/1!  Shanazah was third.

The Prix Barbeville over the 3200m saw Holdthasigreen triumph with Way To Paris 16/1 second and Called To The Bar third.
