Prior to the race Aidan O'Brien's second runner Hermosa (Spanish for beautiful) was on 20/1 and went in as our roughie.

She delighted us by winning with a length margin to the second Lady Kaya  and favourite Qabala  third. Angel's HIdeaway on 33/1 was only a head away in fourth.
Just Wonderful and Iridossa were back in the pack.

Earlier Worth Waiting 3/1 proved her name was appropriate when she wom the Dahlia by a length from Nyaleti and 3/4 length to the fancied Billesdon Brook with favourite Veracious a nose away in fourth.
