Things start to get into gear with the running of the Prix St Georges, a G3 for 3yo over the 1000m. The going is supposed to be very soft so we shall see what happens in this race as a bit of an indicator for the two G1s.

We don’t know a lot about these runners but the sharp pin has come down on Bakoel Koffie on 4.0, Gold Vibe 5.0 and a roughie in Ken Colt on 13.0.

 

The Poule d’Essai des Poulains is a G1 for the colts over 1600m.  Andre Fabre’s Persian King is the odds-on favourite here – P C Boudot will ride – and the best seems to be about 1.50.  Aidan O’Brien has sent Never No More who will have Ryan Moore on board and they are on 4.50.  A Fabre Godolphin runner is Munitions on 6.50 and our roughie is San Donato on 15.0 for Roger Varian and Andrea Atzeni.

 

The Poule d’Essai des Pouliches is also G1 over the 1600m and has 10 3yo fillies lining up.  Fabre again saddles the favourite in Suphala with Boudot also riding and they are on 4.00.

Francis Graffard has Watch Me on 6.00, Carlos Laffon-Parias has Matematica and we have a couple of roughies here in the O’Brien-Moore Coral Beach on 15.0 and Pia Brandt’s Silva on 18.00 with William Buick booked for the ride.
