There are three G1s on the card at Kranji on Saturday with the Kranji Mile the highlight.

This meeting is held on a Saturday evening.  The first of the G1s is the Lion City Cup for the 3y+ over 1200m.  On paper it looks between Lim’s Cruiser and Bold Thruster both on 2.4.  Others in the market are Aramco on 11.2 and Nimble on 18.2 with our roughie being Gingerella on 22.5.

The Singapore Guineas is the third leg of the 3yo Challenge and is over 1600m with 17 runners to line up.  Top Knight is top pick here on 1.8 for Michael Clements and Vlad Duric.  The stablemate Siam Blue Vanda is on 11.4.  Elite Invincible is on 8.8 and our roughie here is Super Smart on 22.9.

The Kranji Mile is open to international horses and sees last year’s winner Southern Legend back from Hong Kong for a shot at the double.  He’s on 1.8 with Zac Purton again riding for Caspar Fownes.  Compatriot Singapore Sling needs a bit of luck but is very talented and will be ridden by the in-form Karis Teetan.

Best hope for the locals is Debt Collector with Michael Rod riding for Cliff Brown, and our roughie here is Countofmontecristo on 18.5 with Glen Boss riding for Michael Clements.
