The Premier Cup and the Premier Plate both gave the punters a happy end to the group races for the 2018/19 season.

It was a good day for the sons of Archipenko with Flying Thunder winning the Cup and Time Warp running fourth in the Plate,

Flying Thunder's win in the Cup gave Grant van Niekerk not only part of a treble but his first Group win in Hong Kong.  They finished in front of Time to Celebrate who was ¾ length away and the big grey Pingwu Spark just ran out of gas towards the end and settled for third.  They were followed home by More Than Lucky and Styling City who as usual led but got mown down at the end.

High Rise has looked very promising for Caspar Fownes and this time he put his former apprentice Vincent Ho on board.  They did the job well finishing ahead of Season's Bloom and Citron Spirit.  As mentioned above Time Warp was the fourth finisher and Savy Six fifth.
