For our friends and colleagues Pat Cummings and Joe Kristufek who are involved with Eskenforit known as Kenny.

Kenny made it into the field for the Indiana Derby and had Julien Leparoux on board – until shortly after the start when Kenny stumbled and Julien went flying!  However displaying a great attitude of "nil desperandum" Kenny decided to show his fellow 3yos that he was made of the proper stuff and without the benefit of Julien's guidance swept past the field and crossed the line first. 

And then they had to tell him that he couldn't be called the winner and to add insult to injury they placed him LAST with a "UR" next to his name.

Oh well stuff happens – only it seems to happen more in racing.  Fortunately Julien is OK with nothing broken, and Kenny will live to fight another day!
