With the French packing their buckets and spades and heading to Deauville it was a good start to the summer holidays when Laurens won.

Although she's a raider she is also very popular with the French racegoers.  She finished ½ length in front of Freddy Head's With You and our roughie Obligate ran third which was nice too.

And another smile producing result was Earthlight's win in the Prix de Cabourg by a very comfortable margin.
