The Geoffrey Freer G3 saw a big upset when the outsider of the 5 horse field Technician 10/1 won.

He was ¾ length in front of the favourite Morandi and was not hampered by the wet conditions. He will probably head to the St Leger now.

The Hungerford G2 saw Godolphin Appleby-Doyle produce the winner in Glorious Journey who went off at 100/30. Librisa Breeze was second and favourite Safe Voyage third, ahead of Sir Dancelot.
