At The Curragh on Friday

3 minute read

Not too many surprises in the G3 races and not unexpectedly a slight upset in the Cambridgeshire.

The Flame of Tara went to Jessica Harrington's Cayenne Pepper in the hands of Shane Foley.

They finished 2 1/2 lengths in front of So Wonderful.

The Round Tower saw Lope Y Fernandez get his first group race when he finished in front of Guildsman and Fort Myers.

The Snow Fairy went to Goddess with a bit of a shock second in Credenza 33/1 and Trethias third.

And the Cambridgeshire – Dermot Weld's Jassaar won at 10/1 with Current Option 12/1 second and then the more fancied Numerian third, Ice Cold in Alex fourth and Turnberry Isle 5th.
