There was only a nose in it for the winner of the Moulin – Circus Maximus.

 However there was an inquiry to see if there had been interference between the winner and the second Romanised.  That let the result stand, but connections of Romanised are set to appeal this.

Third place went to Godolphin's Line of Duty (Appleby-Buick).

The Prix des Chênes went to Ecrivain from Hopeful with favourite Al Dabaran third.

The Prix d'Aumale for the fillies went to Savarin from Secret Time by ¾ length.

And the Gladiateur went to the Pia Brandt trained Called To The Bar who won by 2 lengths from the John Hammond trained Haky.
