At Parx on Sunday Sophie Doyle rode Street Band to victory in the Gr 1 Cotillion Stakes.
The race was for 3yo fillies over 1700m with Street Band beating favourite Guarana by 2 ¼ lengths and 22/1 shot Horologist third and Bellafina fourth. It was a "win and you're in" for the Breeders Cup Distaff.
Earlier the Gallant Bob Gr 2 went according to form with King Jack defeating Landeskog by 1 ½ lengths. Trophy Chaser was third.
And the Pennsylvania Derby Gr 1 went without Maximum Security who was rumoured to have colon issues (we wish him a speedy recovery) which left the way clear for Math Wizard to step up and win, despite starting at 31/1. He was a neck in front or Mr Money 17/1 with favourite Improbable not firing.
At Belmont the Gr 2 Kelso went to the first two in the market although in reverse order with Pat On The Back defeating Prince Lucky.
