Despite the problems going on in town the HKJC feels they have enough security to go ahead with today's National Day program at Sha Tin.

While some patrons may find it difficult to get out to Sha Tin, those who do should be in for a treat with the wonderful Beauty Generation returning to run in Race 7.

Before that we have the G3 Sprint over 1000m in Race 3, the National Day Cup.  There's only seven starters and not really any clear leader.  Moreira may take over this with Full Of Beauty who is on 2.8, and we think Richard Gibson's Rattan could come into this on 5.9.

The Celebration Cup G3 is over 1400m and despite some weight issues (top weight for jockey and a couple of kilos over top fighting weight for the horse) he's such a great horse it's hard to see anything beating him.  Odds-on of course which make a couple of these good e/w and multiple value – Waikuku on 10.0 and the Derby winner Furore on 11.0.

The get-out is a tough one – last race on the card and a Class 2 over 1200m.  While Aethero is very promising and should win we have a couple of slight reservations about him and are prepared to go out on a limb with Fat Turtle who is on 4.8 while Aethero is on 2.1.  There are couple of 20.0 chances here worth playing is you need to get out – Raging Storm and Dan Control.
