Although the crowd was down in numbers the staff did a wonderful job in making sure Sha Tin's meeting went ahead and ran smoothly.

And it was indeed a day "full of beauty" with the Kwok family's Full of Beauty winning the National Day Cup and their Beauty Generation the other G3, the Celebration Cup.

Joao Moreira rode a 4-time which included Full of Beauty in the Cup and Fat Turtle (our selection) in the last.  Unfortunately we were out of luck with the quinellas, with Jolly Banner getting the second in the National Day Cup, Ka Ying Star the second in the Celebration Cup and Caifornia Whip the second in the last.

Full Of Beauty didn't have much in the way of opposition so while he looks very promising his star status is awaiting of some more competitive results.

Beauty Generation won his 10th in a row and thoroughly justified the connections decision to keep him racing at home.  He will be all the better for the run and an increased distance which means the International Mile in December.
