This track and its training facility are under threat from the forces of darkness so this meeting is a chance for the Parisians and friends of racing to come out and support.

The feature of the card is the G2 Criterium de Maisons-Lafitte for the 2yos over 1200m.  Unfortunately the track is likely to be heavy as there has been more rain in Paris this week.

Andrew Balding is sending Shadn and has booked Arc-winning jockey P-C Boudot for the ride.  They are favourite both in the UK and on the PMU at around 3/1.  The French like Jessely next, the Brits Devil.  There's also the unfortunately named Sir Boris who may need Police protection!  And Francis Devin saddles the promising Alocasia with Alex Badel in the irons – around 6/1.
