In winning the Wo Tik Handicap Class 2 on Saturday Aethero broke Sacred Kingdom's record for the 1000m.

Aethero was in the capable hands of Joao Moreira this time as his regular jockey Zac Purton had been booked for Voyage Warrior some time ago.  It was the real Aethero who turned up and he was able to establish a clear lead coming into the final stages of the race, with long shot Big Time Baby second on 128.00 and Thanks Forever 7.3 third.  Voyage Warrior never looked comfortable.

Earlier the Tsuen Fu Handicap also Class 2 but over 1800m went to Savvy Six 12.0 from Tianchi Monster 11.0 and Star Performer.
