Having finished not far away in the previous legs, Sunday it was her turn and this grey daughter of Bargo ran very well indeed.

She showed a very nice turn of foot to come through and win by two lengths from Curren Bouquetd'or with Shigeru Pink Dia 1 ½ lengths away in third and another ½ to Shadow Diva who just edged out Beach Samba by a head.

We have no explanation of what happened to favourite Danon Fantasy except to say it was not her day and she was never a challenger.

Rose Tesoro was a very fast finisher – she had the same time for the last 600m as Chrono Genesis – but she was too far back to finish better than 6th.
