The Irish runner Ten Sovereigns is probably a well-kept secret coming in to the Everest today.
Many are concentrating on his latest run in the Nunthorpe at York where things didn't go his way. Instead look at his run at Newmarket in the July Cup when he beat Advertise, who starts favourite in the Sprint on Champions Day at Ascot later in the day.
He won all his 2yo races over 1200m in times that were faster than average. Ryan Moore has come to ride him, not to see the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
If he runs to his best he could give this a serious shake up. Definitely worth a bit of each way and the multiples.
