With three G2s on the card this is normally a very popular meeting but there are big shadows over Hong Kong at present.

Let's hope the meeting can go ahead without too many traumas although public transport to Sha Tin is going to be problematic.

First of the G2s is Race 6, the Jockey Club Mile and while Beauty Generation was beaten last outing that's not likely to happen here.  Zac Purton rides for John Moore here and they are on 1.4.  The obvious quinella looks to be Waikuku and with only 7 runners in the race it is a "sit back and watch" for us.

The Cup follows and is over 2000m and if all goes well should be another Purton winner with Exultant the top pick.  Only 9 in this and next best in the market is Rise High on 4.2.  Glorious Forever 11.0 and Dark Dream will go into our multiples.

The Sprint is the most tricky of the G2s with a full field of 14.  Aethero comes into this with good form and an ultra light weight so we are going for him ahead of the unbeaten in Hong Kong Regency Legend – 5.1 and 2.7 current odds.  Hot King Prawn won this last year and has had some issues since then bit could be back and is on 7.2 and Mr Stunning is returning from injury and as we love him dearly we will have something on him at 28.0.
