Last week we suggested that the horses running at Aqueduct would be happier in Florida.

And lo and behold they are in New Orleans and in Florida where the Gr2  Fort Lauderdale Stakes will be run on turf over 1800m, for 3y+.

The Morning Line has Todd Pletcher's Chanel Cat on top on 3/1 with Velazquez as usual in the irons.  Cross Border is 3/2 for Maker-Saez, and Admission Office 9/2 for Lynch- J Ortiz.

At Aqueduct last Saturday Lake Avenue won the Demoiselle by 4 lengths and Shotski the Remsen.  Maximum Security produced maximum effort to win the Cigar Mile by 3 ½ lengths over arch rival Spun to Run.
