Qatar Oaks and Derby 2019

3 minute read

Ex Miss showed a great turn of foot to win the Oaks on Friday.

She was ridden by Ryan Curatolo who urged her through the field to take the front and then charge away with the race.  They finished 2 ½ lengths ahead of Star of War and Manorah took the third prize.

The Derby on Saturday saw Pedro Cara under Tony Piccone show great acceleration in the straight to win from King Power Racing's Bangkok (x Australia) ridden by Silvestre de Sousa and Al Gazi third.

As well as the races there was also the football in Doha when Liverpool won the big trophy!
