Boxing day saw Notebook take out the Racing Post Novice Chase with Rachael Blackmore riding for Henry de Bromhead with Fakir d'Oudairies second and Laurine was pulled up.

On Friday there's Grade 1s in the Chasing and Hurdles departments today as the highlights.

The Chase has 8 runners and sees the return of Chacun Pour Soi who is odds-on for Mullins-Townend.  Next in betting is Hardline on 7/1 and one we like A Plus Tard at 8/1.

The Hurdle has only 5 runners and an odds-on favourite here in Abracadabra.  Next best Blue Sari 7/4.
